bath oil for pathworking
1 and 1/2 tablespoons potchouli leaf
1 tablespoon bay leaf
1 teaspoon cinquefoil herb
1 teaspoon Solomon's seal root
unscented bath oil, jojoba oil, or olive oil
-place herbs in a 4 ounce jar
-completely fill jar with oil and cover tightly
-turn jar over daily for at least 20 days before using
-add to bath prior to pathworking

Beltane belfire incense
3 parts lilac flowers
2 parts frankincense
2 parts patchouli
2 pinches ginger root
lilac oil (optional)
-grind ingredients together, mixing well
-toss into balfires on Beltane

easy mead
1 quart dry cider
3/4 cup honey
1/4 cup sliced citrus fruits
3 3-inch cinnamon sticks
-combine ingredients in a container just big enough to hold everything
-seal & refrigerate
-shake or stir daily, for 5 days
-strain before drinking

herb broom
collect handfuls of the following:
ash or birch sprigs
cedar
fruit tree sprigs
juniper
oak sprigs
yarrow
-bundle plants & tie cut ends together
-the bindle may be tied to a branch if a longer handle is desired
-use to sweep away negative influences

Kuan-Yin purity salt
1 cup salt
8 drop lotus blossom essence
-mix ingredients together
-sprinkle in the area where divination will take place to purify the space
 
Kuan-Yin, savior, shield me, guard me

scrying incense
3 parts powdered frankencense
1 part powdered sandlewood
1 part powdered patchouli
-mix ingredients in a non-metal bowl
-burn on incense charcoal in censer while scrying

spiral wreath
grapevine (wild or from a craft store)
spring flowers (wild or from a craft store)
copper wire to hold vine or flowers in place
heavy objects (like bricks)
-soak the grapevine in water overnight
-shape into a spiral, using the heavy objects to hold it in place
-allow to dry for 24 hours
-weave the flowers into the grapevine, symbolizing the return
to warmth

Sun King anointing oil
10 drops frankencense oil
10 drops sandlewood oil
3 pinches saffron or safflower
light colored olive oil to fill jar completely
-mix ingredients well in an air-tight 2 ounce jar
-turn jar over daily for at least 10 days before using
-concentrating on the Sun, rub the oil on the person or token representing the Sun

wassail
1 gallon cider (hard or non-alcoholic)
6 cinnamon sticks
2 teaspoons whole allspice
1 teaspoon clove
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
tart apples
-put clove & allspice in a mesh bag or tea ball
-place all ingredients in a large pot
-heat until the apples burst

Wild Hunt talisman
cedar
myrrh
sandlewood
wormwood
-place a pinch of each in a pouch
-wear or carry to attune with the Wild Hunt

wisdom candle anoiting oil
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 tablespoon rosemary
10 drops myrrh oil
light colored olive oil to fill jar completely
-mix ingredients well in an air-tight 2 ounce jar
-turn jar over daily for at least 10 days before using
-rub the oil on the candle before burning
